I hate F2P and refuse to pay for such games... I think at this point I want yet another TPP game or two and finally a big wRPG. With normal pay model. I want a TES, Witcher or DA game. Maybe a new IP. But I want a top class wRPG. Ehh...

sometimes i dream of the day were Ni No Kuni 2 is announced. and i am still a bit angry the game didn't make it to the vita.

yes, i also want more western rpg, but wrpg really had not a good time on the ps3 besides fallout and skyrim which are... kind of... the same old story over and over again. i mean, it took two magnificent, superb titles of witcher until it comes on a playstation. to me witcher has always been THE example for modern western rpgs besides gothic of course (where i in all honestly don't like the newer ones).

i think the best we can get is... maybe a fallout spinoff. i'd be happy for any western rpg.

Agree 100%. I also think that at this point Witcher is the best wRPG on the market and I've also loved early Gothic games by which it's inspired (I especially loved the first part, I played it like crazy) and I'd be satisfied by a Fallout game. The sad thing is that CD Projekt RED wanted to bring Witcher to PS3, but couldn't do it on its own, so they paid a French company to port the game and well... it turned out to be just a waste of money as they took the cash and never produced a playable game :( After that they've decided not to trust other companies with things like that, so they've ported Witcher 2 to X360 only, since they were able to do this on their own. They knew there was no point in fighting with Cell considering their next game would be next gen, so they didn't need this experience. So again, it's all because of the French :P

Sometimes I think I'm so desperate for a wRPG on Vita that I'd even be happy if we got the Enhanced Edition of Baldur's Gate and other games made on that engine. If Sony reached out and granted us a port of Wasteland 2 I'd be in heaven.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

F2P games have such vastly different models that I find it difficult to believe you hate all of them.

For example, I think TF2 does the F2P model brilliantly.  Yes, it is a little slow grinding weapons, but that's what you pay for - if you can wait (like I did), you don't spend a penny.  And all the weapons are side-grades that change your playstyle, rather than being "upgrades".

Heck, I found Deathmatch Village on Vita more than playable as a F2P game.  Could've been better, but considering I didn't spend a penny on it, I got a lot of enjoyment out of it.

And don't get me wrong - I'd rather pay for the full game and get the whole package myself - but F2P is seeming like an increasingly adopted business model as time moves on, so it may be something we have to get used to.  Better to support the versions of F2P that do it well where you end up spending very little/a reasonable amount, rather than the ones which nickel-and-dime you.

I just ignore everything that's F2P and don't even get into the different systems of payment. I just don't like it and don't support it. The only F2P game I've played was World of Tanks and I really love it (would be cool if it hit PS3), but I started playing it in the beta, so I didn't even realise it was going to be a F2P game when I started playing it, got into a clan and stuff :P Still, when I think that they charge more for a single Premium tank than the price of a new retail game, it makes me sick and question why I play this game.

One of the best F2P games out there is League of Legends. You don't have to pay  in order to enjoy the game. You can play forever without paying a single dime on LoL. That is one of the best way to do a F2P service. You don't need to pay in order to win. It's all about your skills.

I think F2P is great if it is implemented great with Consumer's cinvenient in mind.

On the Free to Play topic, as usual, Vita has two very distinct scenarios: Japan and everywhere else.

In Japan this formula is present: there's Million Arthur, and also Phantasy Star Online 2 is basically a Free to Play, if you think about it. Also, I heard about Samurai and Dragons; I'm not sure it's Free to Play, but it looks like it is, and it's still a sound success in Japan. Finally, every major Japanese developer has it's Free to Play on the Vita; sometimes it's just a nice little title, not an AAA colossal, and yet there it is.

The initial load times were 20 seconds for the vita version of sen no kiseki. After the patch, it was reduced to 10 seconds(Leaving/entering areas/buildings) and 5 seconds to enter battle. I think the guy is exaggerating about 30-40 seconds load times.

Well, if it's like you say, I'm a little more relaxed and confident...

10 seconds is Gravity Rush level, even though such loadings in Gravity Rush happen perhaps once in an hour and you barely notice them...

Sorry guys I finally decided to finish Gravity Rush and the question is: about skills: what is the "kick while 'drifting'"? I don't know how to use that attack, lol! (I think "drifting" is when you press touchscreen with two fingers).

ps: it's the last thing in "combat powers" upgrade menù.

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!

Well is like that... just press attack when your drifting.. will be a kick similar to the one when You dodge and press attack... but is not pretty useful as that... Ijust tried it once to see it, but in real combat doesn't have a good use.

But I have both thumbs on the screen for drifting!

Thank you for the reply and please if you want try to be more specific.

Is sen no kiseki actaully a bad game or is it just the load times that people are pissed about?
