Japanese major publishers seem to favor Nintendo. Capcom, Konami, Sega...

Maybe because they don't have to put a lot of effort into a 3ds game. and they'll lap up what ever system it on anyway. It MH 4 would have come out on vita looking like that they would have recived hell for it.

Metal Gear Solid 5 is on Wii U? Phantasy Star is now on 3DS?  

Capcom has been their biggest franchises on Nintendo platforms. SF is multi, although they are making exclusives for X1 and PS4.

So far it's mainly Capcom and SE that are acting like asshats when it comes to vita exclusive good gaming support..in a way I can't blame em. It's up to Sony to make things happen.

Like MUGEN said, CRAPcom and Square-Enix are the shitheads here... I think it must be because the 3ds is closest to mobile market in terms of development budget and time.. is cheaper to develop a high end game on the 3ds hardware, meanwhile the Vita is closest to PS3...

I can't complain about SEGA's support, except for the localizations, the same with NamcoBandai, Konami Is lacking a lot on Vita, but haven't released any major game on 3ds too except for a MGS3 port and the mirror of fate castlevania that lost exclusivity already...

I think there will be a slow shift of development from PS3 to PSVita, if the PS4 make it big,in one year or a little more Vita should be the target of mid budget development.. The Mobile market is progressing in that direction too, so is a matter of time when We see major projects multiplatform between Vita and mobile...

The problem is... that Vita will have games, but NOT THE GAME, that make selll the console enough to interest big house to develop major projects in exclusive... So in the worst case, Vita will become the Best Multiplatform Handheld of the Story... withnsome great first party exclsuives...

Since MH4 sold about as much as MHP3's first week, and arguably more with downloads and downloads cards, I don't think that's likely. Unless it has no legs whatsoever, Capcom has no reason to be disatisfied with their move to the 3DS. With PSP like sales and Nintendo incentives, I wouldn't be surprised if it does remain exclusive. Nintendo doesn't get a lot of exclusives, but it tends to keep those it does get: DQ, Layton, Ace Attorney, Inazuma Eleven, etc.

More signs that Injustice is coming to Vita.

Monster Hunter 4 is exclusive to the 3DS how much more injustice can the Vita take.

I do kinda understand the point he's making.  3DS gets more support from "big" Japanese publishers (Square-Enix; Capcom; Level 5), at least certainly with retail releases, than Vita does.  And it got those games from the beginning of its life.

I think Namco spreads evenly across the two, perhaps even favouring Vita more.

But most of Vita's support comes from the tiny devs/publishers.  Even MAQL and Kadokawa aren't really that big.
