So I just check the PS Store and noticed the game Lone Survivor was part of the update. I just looked up some gameplay and it looks interesting enough... would any of you recommend the game?

Yes. It's beautiful and amazing, like a 2D version of Silent Hill (the good ones).

OK I guess i'll give it a try then, just bought it!

It's not the lack of tracks etc. That's fine with the DLC stuff. It's the fact that there is no single player races of any  sort. It's just time trial and online versus.

Are you... certain about that?  I literally just watched the Gametrailers review, and he said that it was "limited to single races, multi-player and setting records".

I'm fine without a career mode.  I didn't much care for it in Ridge Racer 7 anyway.  But no single races against AI... that's a dealbreaker, no matter what the price.

P.S. Papers Please is awesome.  I'd actually buy it again for Vita.

there is a single player: you can race all the tracks against AI

The problem with the game:It feels naked and torn somehow ,soulless.Imagine buying one single track of a racing game, than another one and another one.It simply does not feel like a complete game.Though it has far more to offer than eg the first ridge racer it has no concept, feels incomplete(it has nothing to do carreer mode)never played a ridge racer with so little fun.

But i think for 10-15 bucks it's alright.

Frozen Synapse Tactics trailer.

Lookin' good!

Strange choice for the title, though. Frozen Synapse: Tactics is like saying Call of Duty: Shooter.

Ridge Racer plays just like Ridge Racer 6/7. It's absolutely fantastic from a technical perspective. Shame they forgot to put a game in :( That said, the Dayona USA remix stuff is a nice novelty.

I've been meaning to ask about that actually.  I do get that it's an absolutely horrible game in terms of the business model, but how is it as an actual title now all the DLC is released?  Does it feel complete?  Are there enough tracks?

Seeing as it can be picked up for peanuts pre-owned, and then I just need to buy the gold pass, I'm considering picking it up as long as it's mechanically sound, since I do very much like Ridge Racer as a series (or at least I did, before it went Unbounded on us).

Almost all the Music DLC are free... but paying the silver and gold DLC the game still feel imcomplete... arroun 15 tracks and 20-something cars or a little more... i spent 12$ on DLC for that Game, then I looked that PSP's have 45 cars and a lot of tracks for just 10$..And the game modes are inexistent...   I have been regretting it since then.

RR on Vita is a NOT! so don't buy that..

I don't think it went down that way...

I personally believe that whatever Nintendo gave Capcom hasn't really panned out, so I doubt Monster Hunter 5 will be 3DS exclusive.
