Same. At this point, I think Monster Hunter is probably the worst example of the very genre it established. |
Now dont say that one thing the series dose really well is the hunting aspect of the genre. Having to explore the wilderness (although kind of linear) to hunt the monster your looking for or gathering materials. Planning on what items to bring like traps, potions, healing meat. Upgrading and buying your weapons from the things you gathered and the monsters you slayed.
The gameplay is slow and it takes a very long time to kill a monster or upgrade your weapons, but thats how its meant to be since your simulating a hunting experience. Its the other games that are adding a lot of actions while ignoring the hunting part in the genre. I know this game is not for everyone, but me and a lot of people want a MH game on the vita to play it not just to see sales. Although its kind of funny seeing the ninty fans brag about the games sales while it gose against their philosophy on what a portable game should be.
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont
