I created a new PSN account. I decided to give a NA a chance since some games on videogamesplus are dirty cheap (and since they have a network pass....).

I'm actually blow away by content of NA account vs my crappy Croatian one :(

Hrvatska nije Amerika.

Očito.... Napravil sam Kanadski psn račun :P

Damn, like your avatar do not scare me enough.

I recommend playing the PC versions of Ys games when possible anyway. The PSP ports are inferior in nearly every way.

In terms of how I would rate the series (taking story, combat, music, etc in mind)

Celceta (4) > Felghana (3) > Origin (0) > 1&2 > 7 >> Napishtim (6) >>> Kefin (5)

5 needs a remake/reimagining (like Celceta) so bad it's not funny. 6 was pretty poor as well. Not missing too much. Although it directly ties into 7.

What's worng with my avatar? The dude's hot!

And why is my native language scary?

So, just finished Felghana.  It was as short as I was expecting, but you know, that's not really a bad thing.  It didn't drag out any storylines or anything.

The final boss was crazy.  Felt like I was in a bullet hell shooter at one point.  And I couldn't for the life of me work out what to do in the first phase without a walkthough.  But it was tonnes of fun.

And the ending was lovely!  Now I'm really looking forward to playing Celceta, but:

Dogi isn't in it?  I presumed he was, but then I looked at some trailers for the game and I don't see him anywhere.  Which does fit with the ending of Felghana I guess.  Boo :(

Anyway, Baldr's listing of the order just makes me even more excited.  And I have Seven to play in the meantime, which is cool.

I wonder if Falcom will remake Ys 5 for Vita.  Seems it's the only one they've got left; so it's either that or Ys 8.

Anyway, yeah.  If the rest of the games are of a similar standard to Felghana, then I think this series may well grow to become one of my favourites.

No, only a brief cameo. He leaves to take care of some business. Celceta is the 4th game, but is actually 3rd chronologically, in other words before Felghana. The two have not quite started their adventure together yet. But you get what is basically a clone, Dulen, to satisfy those who need a burly man around.

Any news on Celceta coming to Europe? :(

I read on NeoGAF (but can't be bothered finding the post now) one of the XSEED guys saying they'd like to bring it to Europe, but if they do it'll be digital only; unless they can find a publishing partner (i.e. Ghostlight or someone like that) to give it a retail release.

I'm gonna wait a little while longer for news and then import from the USA I think.  It's got no DLC, so there's no huge loss.

I just bought a Vita! Finally! Amazon had the Wifi + 8GB Memory + Mega Pack 1 on sale for €169 and this time I just couldn't resist. Watching videos of the new LCD screen did the rest.
Gravity Rush or Persona now? That's the question. I'm leaning towards Persona.

are you a fan of JRPGs or turn based RPGs at all?? because P4G is easily one of the best. Oh and it lasts a long time... especially if you want that Platinum Trophy (thank god i dont care for trophies).
