So, just finished Felghana. It was as short as I was expecting, but you know, that's not really a bad thing. It didn't drag out any storylines or anything.
The final boss was crazy. Felt like I was in a bullet hell shooter at one point. And I couldn't for the life of me work out what to do in the first phase without a walkthough. But it was tonnes of fun.
And the ending was lovely! Now I'm really looking forward to playing Celceta, but:
Dogi isn't in it? I presumed he was, but then I looked at some trailers for the game and I don't see him anywhere. Which does fit with the ending of Felghana I guess. Boo :(
Anyway, Baldr's listing of the order just makes me even more excited. And I have Seven to play in the meantime, which is cool.
I wonder if Falcom will remake Ys 5 for Vita. Seems it's the only one they've got left; so it's either that or Ys 8.
Anyway, yeah. If the rest of the games are of a similar standard to Felghana, then I think this series may well grow to become one of my favourites.
