As for PS Nova, has much been shown of the gameplay, besides the f-ing huge monster. All this "another Monster Hunter" game crap is getting depressing. Anyone would think Monster Hunter had been around since the 80s like Phantasy Star :(

Hopefully there is more to the game than just big monsters. It's meant to have a story mode, so I'm hoping it's a full blown Action RPG. That would be pretty much exactly what the Vita needs. Tri-Ace also have pedigree for decent stories :D

Sounds like it's basically PSP3, so I don't think it has anything to do with all the Monster Hunter clones. Should be a single player game first and foremost.

I'm sure I read that the WiFi OnlyFat OLED Screened Vita is not gonna get out of stock.. this slim will be a alternative not a replacement... at least until a OLED screened Slim Vita release...

Newcomers on this genre (specially Ninties that have just discovered MonHun) will not remember that Phantasy Star have been arround on the coop monster hunting since Dreamcast... and with ONLINE! soi let them alone.. they are gonna complain anyway...

 

And this is a tri-ACE game.. we have a game all jRPGamer gonna envy, I'm sure of it...

There's plenty of stock of  OLED Vita at the moment. I doubt they will be continuing to manufacture them though. The market has spoken. They want a lower retail price (if they want the system at all) so I think the axing of OLED is a permanant move. They'll be shaving a load off the hardware costs switching to LCD. I reckon the OLED models were sold at a loss after the price cut, but the LCD model will probably be at least break even.

the games were developed on lcd screens.they are optimised for lcd . Therefore some things should look better on lcd though the tech is not that good.

Get a Vita without a dodgy display? :p mine doesn't seem to have the green tint, mine just has an annoying "streak" effect in the darker areas. That's the particular OLED panel I've got though, never had that problem on any other OLED device I have :(

I sent the first one back, it got replaced.

I sent the second one back which was even worse (even had a little bit of red tint in the greys), they said there was nothing wrong with it.
