well yeah..that was the RIGHT thing to do :P SE was smart back then...

and apparently it's not Type0...but it's a prequel using the Luminous Engine. Tabata is behind it.

Makes you wonder..does SE actually earn a lot of money from these mobile games? Because thanks to that and games like FF13 they are losing their usual fanbase little by little.

Here's the scan by the way

Finished Machinarium. Hands down the most difficult set of puzzles I have come across (not all of them..but the last few)

Beautiful and interesting game

Soul sacrifice devs are so generous it's amazing how many free dlc we've got.

I'd imagine that's down to Sony as the publisher more than Comcept.  And yeah, I'm surprised how much free DLC there has been too.

@ MUGEN, I'm not surprised, but I'm extremely disappointed.  I wish they'd developed it into a handheld Final Fantasy brand, but instead it seems like they're going after smartphones like they do with everything.  Unless it's just a port, I guess.

Also:

LCD vs. OLED comparison.  I think I might buy another original model if they're phasing them out to have as a spare...

Vita 2000 is for Japan only for now:

http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/09/10/sony-no-word-yet-on-new-vita-model-in-the-west

so, i guess just like the pricecut, this will take more than half a year or maybe longer to arrive in the western markets.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

Dayum! Still, read a article on IGN recently, Sony's official statement for now is, that they have nothing to say about PSV2000 coming to the West for now. The later, the better, I don't have the money to buy a Vita this year, but I won't settle for an LCD screen...and going by Sony's track record, they don't keep the older models as options, they phase them out.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Don't worry, guys. I think Sony has enough unsold old models laying around to last for many decades to come.

Some Siliconera info dump:

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/11/final-fantasy-agito-starts-in-the-world-of-type-0-your-decisions-change-the-story/

Final Fantasy Agito is a sequel/prequel related to the first game, but not a port.  Free to play with microtransactions.  I dunno about you guys, but I'm gonna continue bashing Sony over the head asking for Type 0.

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/10/you-can-transfer-your-soul-sacrifice-data-into-soul-sacrifice-delta/

Soul Sacrifice saves transfer across into Soul Sacrifice Delta.

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/10/totori-and-meruru-are-playable-in-new-atelier-rorona/

Totori & Meruru are playabe in Atelier Rorona Plus thanks to time travel or some such.  I hope this gets localized, I'm looking forward to having the trilogy on my 64GB Vita memory card!!

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/10/danganronpa-another-episode-takes-place-in-between-danganronpa-1-2/

Danganronpa Another Episode (the third person "shooter") is set between the first two games.  So who knows, maybe we will see it in the west (I hope so!)

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/11/over-70-people-are-working-on-phantasy-star-nova/

70 people are developing Phantasy Star Nova and over 200 people are involved in its development.  This is actually a massive project; expect Sony to push it heavily in Japan.  This also explains why they've been pushing PSO2 so hard.

Wow. That's a bigger team for PSN than a lot of AAA games these days. I'd be sort of surprised if this were only for Japan. Shahid was pushing a "P" game a while back, right?

But for now I'm just happy that tri-Ace is doing something other than pitching in on Lightning Rerereturns: Final Fantasy XIII-13.
