of course is mandatory!  Like ALL games tat have a beta before it release! if is 1gb is not just a sum, some data could just replace others... like PSASBR's Updates that goes from 500mbs the first one to 800mb the last.. but the game is still arround 2.2gb just 450mb more than the initial size..

My copy of the game shipped today, should have it tomorrow or thursday :D

Just picked up my KZ merc copy downloading the 1.1 gig patch then it's playtime will play the campaign first , then check out the mp , not sure how active it will be  how many countries got it today? I live in Australia , played a little of the beta mp and it was fine but didn't spend enough time on it.

Rushed?  Weird...I played the entire game and beat it (Review should be up in 5 hours when the embargo lifts), and there were absolutely no issues with performance or content.  

Quit being an insufferable pessimist all the time.

LIES!  that whole review was a LIE!  I have another in the waiting that I'll post for reals!  

And crap, I just realized I can't post the screenshots I took. guys, game is beautiful!  (but you knew that).  But more importantly, the art direction is just so awesome.  got some lens flare, but you know what?  IT works!
