Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer about an ornery mutant blob that, after being held captive in a lab that can only be described as something out of a retro sci-fi movie from the early ’50′s, escapes into the world and sets out on a path to destroy and consume everything! A follow-up to last year’s PSN title Tales from Space: About a Blob, Mutant Blobs Attack will contain a wide range of exciting new features and gameplay modes designed exclusively for the PS Vita.

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack features new levels, new powers, new PS Vita controls, new gameplay modes, new puzzle solving elements, a new (faster) blob player character, and more.

*Play as an all-consuming mutant blob as you explore (and devour) your way through more than two dozen interactive levels.

*A wide range of environments: everything from a frat house to a metropolis

*Next generation touch controls (touchscreen and rear touch pad) combined with those of a classic platformer for a fresh take on the platforming genre

*”Tilt-a-Blob” bonus levels featuring gyroscopic controls reward players’ performance and add to the replayability

*Growth throughout levels provide players with a constantly changing perspective on the in-game world

*Challenging puzzles mixed into the action and mayhem

*Competitive, collection-based leaderboards, support for special in-game achievements and Trophies

By the way you mean VC3 as in the one already released for the PSP? or a totally new game VC that uses PSvita technology.

Seeing as how there was no NA release for the game, I'd take a PSV compatible PSN download version, a PSV port on chip, or an all new game with the obligatory touchscreen input (which would actually improve the game interface).

To all those interested, Hot Shots Golf and WipeOut 2048 are $10 off on Amazon US

It'll be the first time I buy a system on launch day aswell.

What Launch games will you guys be getting? I, personally, will be getting Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Deviants, WipeOut 2048, Escape Plan and the others will have to wait.

Here's hoping that Tales of Innocence R actually makes it over here.

Currently undecided but may end up settling with Escape Plan and some PSP JRPGs. I would like Uncharted but I am not paying $50 because they only ends up sending the wrong kind of message to Sony.

No handheld game should cost $50.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I wouldn't get my hopes up. I'm still waiting for them to release Tales of Phantasia PSP here in the west and I have a feeling that I'll continue to wait a long, long time
