so torn lately. The 3DS is getting so much more love from me, and the Vita is kinda collecting dust. Once Muramasa and Dragon's Crown come out, I'll be good. As it stands, most of the games coming for the Vita this year are all games I can get elsewhere. Dragon's Crown is on PS3, Muramasa is a Wii port, and Final Fantasy X and X-2 are all updated PS2 games and are both on PS3. The only games on Vita that are coming out that I want that are exclusives are Tearaway and Killzone, and neither excite me all too greatly. I think Tearaway will be good, but not great. Same with killzone, which I think will be good and VERY pretty, but not great.
the 3DS, on the other hand, is getting Mario and Luigi, Link to the PAst 2, Pokemon X and Y, Smash Brothers, and more. Right now, I'm far more excited for 3DS and WiiU than anything else. Nintendo has really brought it to the table, and Sony is NOT supporting their handheld.
This will be the death of the Vita. the 1-2 punch of better competition and a lack of support is gonna end it.
My Console Library:
PS5, Switch, XSX
PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360
3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

That might be great for the tiny fraction of the population those games are made for, but where's the mass appeal? The Vita will not emerge from this slump until the system gets a GOOD call of Duty game, or God of War, or Grand Theft auto or Original Final Fantasy, etc. Niche titles are great, but they don't sell systems.

the support of 3DS is better than Vita only in Japan
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

While you do have a point in that Sony has almost abandoned the console, I have to disagree with you. Just because most of the upcoming games are multiplats doesn't make them any less enjoyable. As a consumer, I'm really happy that I'll get to play FF X, Dragon's Crown and Rayman Legends even if they are available on other consoles, just like ps360 owners get excited for Assassin's Creed even though it's a multiplat. I don't know about you, but I have at the moment too many psvita games to play and decided to stop buying any until I manage to play most of them. Lack of games I want is definitely not a concern of mine, but yes the fact that there aren't any great exclusives with mass appeal is by all means bad for the system and its future.

This might be heading to vita

While I would LOVE to see those games on Vita, it's interesting because precisely the reason the Vita appeals to me (and so many others in it's small but dedicated userbase) is because it's offering experiences BEYOND those mainstream titles.
Look at what sells and what doesn't on 3DS. Although it's got a large market, they're already set on what they will/won't buy. Even a high profile releases like Resident Evil Revelations has struggled to sell any more units on 3DS than the high profile Vita games have to an audience not even 20% the size.
If those niche titles are breaking even/making profit on Vita, which they seem to be doing, that's actually a healthier position for the developers to be in, than releasing to 3DS's mass market audience.
I still think the price is a big factor in Vita hardware sales, the 3DS struggled with the ultimate version of one of the highest acclaimed games of all time, until it dropped substantially in price. Though Sony's time to make Vita a mainstream system is fast running out, I do know quite a few people who are on the fence, but are put off by the price and memory card situation.
Personally I've found the 3DS's game lineup has offered very little of interest (this year for me there has been CastleVania, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Donkey Kong, which is a Wii Port and then later in the year the only game I'm currently particularly enthused for is the Link to the Past sequel) while I have a huge backlog of Vita games with plenty more on the near horizon that I want to play. I also find the 3DS hardware rather lacking since I got my Vita and so only play the exclusives that stand out to me.
It's great to finally have a system where those "niche" games are able to flourish again. We haven't really had that since the shift over from the PS2 to PS360.
