Last year Gamescon was good for Vita. 


i want to believe that, but something tells me we shouldnt get hour hopes up. SCEE is gonna prioritise the PS4 aswell on gamescon. I just dont see how the Vita can catch a break this year, unless they make a little event for Vita only.

Last year Gamescon was good for Vita. 

I'm not hoping for much on Vita this year anywhere. Maybe they give Vita some more love in Tokyo if it turns out to be true that PS4 will be released later in Japan ;) Sony senses MS and Nintendo blood and will be as aggressive with PS4 as possible, they won't let Vita get in the way of that.

 

I'm hoping we get another exclusive AC on Vita, the first one was fun, but clearly looked like a first wave game. An upgraded version made by a team with experience would be mindblowing. I just hope they don't repeat the awesome idea of releasing the Vita game the same day as the homeconsole version -_- The Vita exclusives should have a different release schedule, preferably be released a month before the homeconsole version, but that won't be the case this year I guess.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

iirc they were refering to liberations and not a new game... just saying there was one on the vita (and mentioning aveline).

Killzone could finally be the FPS the Vita deserves! I just hope to god it doesn't end up being the last one! Playing Need for Speed makes me really sad, because I'm pretty certain it's gonna be the only handheld racer of this quality to ever see the light of day :(

What makes you think so ? the lack of third party support ? Maybe. But we're certainly getting a Gran Turismo eventually. every sony console has one.

It didn't sell particularly well and hardware sales aren't encouraging.

Gran Turismo leaves me cold tbh, I'm more of an arcade racer fan. There is such a thrill playing NFS in the faster cars with how great the drifting is on the game. It makes you feel like a legend! I'd really love to see a game like this developed from the ground up for Vita. Killzone Mercenary is showing just how competent the hardware is.

Hopefully PS4 will signal a turning point in userbase so that we get more content that does the hardware justice.
