Okay... I know I plug the game a lot (but it really is that good!)

Who is the enemy?

The Wicked Sorcerer Chapter 3: Avaricious Slime with Carnatux and Carnivorous Slime in the Later Years. I just don't seem to be able to find a way to deal enough devestating damage, but I'm also really struggling with the -50% DEF as I can't get up and close at all because a couple of hits finishes me off.

What's the best way of making yourself stronger on this? Or is it purely as you get further in the game you just get/craft better spells?


afaik the slime does not have a weakness. BUT what I do know is fiend blood attacks work like a charm on them. I have a sigil to increase the sumon duration too so I equip that. Right at the start when the fiend is being transformed I hit start button to skip the animation and summon a treefiend blood. Then move away. Use the mortar attacks on the sucker from a distance. It's just a matter of getting a good strategy going against the arch fiends. If all fails hit up onnline co op :D I can help you out too if you like

oh and my advice is take two sets of healing magic with you if you need to. You can just use the dead creatures in the map etc to refuel the offerings anyways.

8gb memory card is a move in the right direction. Maybe we'll get shot of the pointless 4gb cards soon. The other rumoured bundles also stated 8gb for the most part.

Yeah, except for the Moto GP bundle, which has a 4gb MC.

I've been trying to decide which way to go 99 and 1... I'm guessing dark is the way to go? Seems like it would take forever to kill anything as a 99/1.

I would go with whatever is your dominant arm is just to make the grinding a tad bit easier(but if you're going neutral then it's fair game) I would recommend the Dark arm route as you literally obliterate enemies,(speacially if using increased damage offerings) just carry around a stone amulet(but I guess the others would work  just as fine) so you can take a hit from a boss if you get caught offguard or an increased invasion offering.

oddly enough I ran into someone doing the divine route, he was a tank, he just used dark arm sigils to increase his damage.
