I got to play Vita today at an event in NYC. Had to wait 2 hours in line for 20 minutes of playtime. The Sony people were super nice though. They even gave snacks, pizza, and drinks. Most people seemed pretty excited about Vita. I played Uncharted, Hot Shots, and Sound Shapes. First time I've played Vita since E3.

I might go back and play some more or I just might wait for launch.

Yeah I want to know about that Sound Shapes too... because that's one the games that you MUST play to understand... the Videos and Images don't say nothing...

Sound Shapes was pretty good. The 2D visuals are really sharp and the music is awesome (they had special headphones for listening). It was also pretty challenging as a platformer but when you die you just press X to start at the beginning of the room.

The characters in Hot Shots are gorgeous but the grass is pretty meh. Uncharted is beautiful and had a bunch of touch based segments that surprised me such as cutting your way through a tarp.

I also met Hip Hop Gamer for the 2nd time. He did not remember me :@

also some info on FF X HD

"Famitsu mentions that Square Enix’s 1st Production Department is handling Final Fantasy X HD. The development team is starting to work on it, which is why there haven’t been many announcements.

It’s interesting to note that Square Enix is handling this internally since remasters are often handled by third party developers. Sanzaru Games took care of The Sly Collection, for example. Bluepoint Games (unofficial masters of the remaster) did God of War Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and Ico & the Shadow of the Colossus Collection. Square Enix usually lets third party developers work on ports too. Tose handled the Final Fantasy Advance series and Bullets Ltd polished Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection."

Can any PSN PSP game be played on the Vita, along with texture filtering and 2nd analog mapping? I think i'll start off with an 8gb card for now until the proprietary prices drop, but I don't know if it will be sufficient for storing PSP games.

Also what I would give to get Ragnarok Odyssey localized...

Possibly one of the best RPGs on PSP and possibly one of the best RPGs ever made imo, I wish they would remake it (or at least make a HD port of it) ;x.

I wonder if they'll make a sequel to it if ever ;(

Sony isnt famous for making sequels to its RPGs T.T

Zero chance sadly.

They didn't even bother with releasing it in PAL regions. You had to import from USA.
