$266?
I'm sure they will find ways to rob us here in Israel. They always do.

Remember PS3 for $600? Forget about that. Around the same time, vendors were selling it here for 4500-5000 shekels, forgot the exhange rate back then, but it's well within the $1000+ range. I bought mine only in 2009 however, well within logical prices (for me, it was still more than its NA $400 here)
Imports are are always an option - one I usually take. Most of my hardware is NA in origin, and given that the PSV is region free, Canada, UK, or the States helping me out yet again is a no-brainer ;)
Metallicube said: I'm a Nintendo/ Xbox 360 gamer, but I gotta say the lineup is looking pretty damn tantalizing for the Vita. This might be the first time I pick a Sony console over a Nintendo one. I was on the fence with getting this, but now that I actually got myself a job, and with the lineup shaping up, it's looking more likely that I'd take the plunge. I'll probably wait until it's released and I hear some impressions of some of the games, but as of now I am already interested in Uncharted, LBP, Ruin, Dragon Crown (Muramasa was an awesome game), and Monster Hunter 3 Portable. |
Welcome to the dark side!!
You should add Great Little War Game to the list of games :). Is probably a psn game.

I think the clock speed may be given. The Samsung Galaxy S II uses a dual core Arm-Cortex A9 clocked at 1.2 GHz, called Exynos. Granted the Vita uses the A9 as well but quad core (1 core locked), could it be possible it will run at 1.2Ghz as well?
However the Exynos doesn't use PowerVR for GPU, unlike the Vita and their own previous, Hummingbird.
Given, All CPU's are being manufactured by Samsung.
EDIT: Ahh nvm, i got tangled with Tegra. Seems like Vita may have a 1GHz A9 with the 200MHz Power VR.
EDIT2: Seeing upcoming Tegra 2 processors, Sony should have gone with Tegra 2. Though batery life would have been a problem.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
Also i hope it has 512 of RAM. It would definitely increase it's life cycle for development, even though the PS3 has 256 main and 256 video.( Holding back...?)

I hope they make a Sly Cooper game for PSV. I really miss those games.
