Excellent thread M.U.G.E.N! Already tried the Playstation Vita and I´m looking forward to the release date. Played Wipeout 2048, Little Deviants, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Escape Plan. To my tastes both Wipeout and Escape Plan are must buy´s. Also, let´s see how Silent Hill: Book of Memories turns out. I´ll keep an eye on this thread. Keep on the good work.

It´s not the same as the psp. I can´t assure you what kind of material it is, but it don´t scratch easily. I tried to give the Vita that small annoying scratches that where common (with normal use) on a psp and it resisted. Since you´ll need to use the screen to interact with the menu and various games it has to be resistant.

If they make you download all the content, and the online pass is just an unlock key then I am not as supportive.

I really do wish they could give the option of buy x game multiplayer only $49.99, get get single player later for $9.99 or visa versa. I would have saved  a lot of money this gen, and maybe been able to afford that one extra game that often gets skipped in the holiday flood.

Is the massive 2nd week sales drop off a case of 'PSP just has more games and is cheaper'?

Also i'm tired of seeing Vita is too expensive articles. 3DS sold at 250 on launch and did better than the Vita with inferior hardware and software. There's a bigger picture we're not seeing here, but at the rate Mario kart and the 3DS are selling it seems the thing is set for the next 5 years. It's amazing how well Mario Kart sells, especially when Crash Team Racing is still better ;)

Is it true that Vita sold 72,479 second week? I've been too busy playing ps3 to pay to much attention.

True at least with PSV you feel like you get your 250$ worth in hardware instead of funding $100 drink for uncle Iwata on his carribean trip.

And well the PSP diagnosis is quite probable - PSP is much cheaper and has trylions of games. It's like PS3 compared to PS2.

Just taking a quick look at the Joystiq review. They say that it's made out of a single piece of plastic. Not too surprising since the recently released Sony Tablets also do not utilize Gorilla Glass, instead using plastic as well.

I fail to see how Uncharted Golden Abyss isn't a killer app. Then again Famitsu gave Uncharted 3 a lower score than Uncharted 1, so I guess the Japanese don't enjoy the games all too much.
