If Disgaea is a launch title then Ima buying this shit day one.

It wouldn't be the final straw for me, but it helps a lot.  Luckily, the final straw happened a while ago for me....day freakin' 1 baby! lol

what was the final straw for you? :D

Probably Gravity, but the combo of Uncharted and Wipeout helped solidify it for me.  And the design is fantastic for the machine.  And then I hear new great games and the possibilities for an epic launch, and my hype meter goes higher by the day...*drools*

I'm a Nintendo/ Xbox 360 gamer, but I gotta say the lineup is looking pretty damn tantalizing for the Vita. This might be the first time I pick a Sony console over a Nintendo one. I was on the fence with getting this, but now that I actually got myself a job, and with the lineup shaping up, it's looking more likely that I'd take the plunge. I'll probably wait until it's released and I hear some impressions of some of the games, but as of now I am already interested in Uncharted, LBP, Ruin, Dragon Crown (Muramasa was an awesome game), and Monster Hunter 3 Portable.

Awww yeah! Some more good news guys..check this out

In the latest famitsu a new character was revealed for the PS VITA port.

The new character is Relius Clover, the father of Carl Clover. They both fight with doll characters.

It will be interesting to see how different he will fight from his son. And there is no mention if the Xbox 360 or Ps3 version will get him as DLC.

First Cole in SF vs Tekken and now this...guess I will be picking up a lot of my fighting games on the VIta

and thanks for the new info updates and encouraging words guys..really appreciate it..

Update
I think we have a clear idea about the RAM for the device!!!! don't think was indicated anywhere before

"'The first PSP had 32 MG of RAM and we have about ten times that now', says studio boss"
also
"Asked if the alleged RAM cut will affect Novarama’s own projects, Sánchez-Crespo said: “no that won’t affect us. It’s actually good for developers to work under constraint. Generally for Vita, we still have a whole lot of headroom in terms of GPU power, CPU power and indeed RAM”."

and an MMA game joins the list of games ( I saw the news this morning but can't find the link now..will try and find it and post it here :) so yeah what do you guys think about the RAM amount?

Around 320MB then?
Given that PS3 manages what it does w/256 main and 256 video, I think the Vita will do just fine!

Around the Network

I'm wondering whether that's ~320MB of ram to work with for games while the rest is used by the OS or ~320MB total.

4 ≈ One

We know it has roughly 128Mb VRAM due to the texture sizes in U:GA, so I would hazard a guess at 256Mb system + 128 video = 384Mb total. OS footprint would be around 70k so this where the 10x32Mb may come into play.

its weird ign.com had an article about this a few days ago. they said it was cut from 512 MG to 256 MG. even though it was never confirmed 512 or otherwise, so how can you cut somethiing that was never final. i mean i bet all consoles were planned to be more powerful than what they released as, but things are cut during development. its not like Sony announced PSV has 512, then a few months later said, oops thats too expensive we are cutting it. im sure all the dev kits they sent out (other than maybe a few really early ones to their first party) had what ever the finalized ram is, not 512.

also the ign article says its 256 mg now, not 320 mg, even though the quote they use doesnt seem to indicate any specific amount of ram. but i hope its 320 MG. also i could have guarentee that after the PSP 1000, all other psp ha 54 MG of ram.

heres the ign article: http://psp.ign.com/articles/118/1184687p1.html

Back in May, IGN reported that the RAM of the PS Vita base model might have been halved, from 512MB to 256MB.

It seems as if Dani Sánchez-Crespo, the CEO of studio Novarama, has confirmed this reduction in an interview withDevelop.

When asked if the alleged RAM cut would affect the studio's output, he replied, "no that won't affect us. It's actually good for developers to work under constraint. Generally for Vita, we still have a whole lot of headroom in terms of GPU power, CPU power and indeed RAM."

He reassured fans that Sony's new handheld will "have a whole lot of headroom in terms of GPU power, CPU power and indeed RAM".

Gravity: looks awsume
Wipeout 2048: looks interesting enough to get into
Dragons Crown
Little Deviants
Shinobido
Reality Fighters

well i lost count but it seems like Sony will out do me with my 20 exclusive 10 innovative requirement before Vita even releases.

i may change it to 30?

well done M.U.G.E.N. keep it up.

1000 Saudi Arabian Riyal which equals 266 US$
