No 32Gb card for the UK? For fucks sake! I feared that would be the case when I saw no online retailer was selling them. Answer me this; I take it that a Japanese or American 32Gb memory card would work fine in a UK PS Vita? I can't see why not! I'll have to keep a close eye on eBay near launch to see if I can find a decently priced one from the USA or Japan.

also

But Sony has positive things to say about the reception of downloadable titles, with Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s Hiroshi Kawano pointing out recently:

タイトルと周辺機器がすごく売れていて、またタイトルのダウンロード版が想像以上に売れています

" Software and peripherals are selling very well, and sales of downloadable versions of games are above expectations"

being cheaper and the psn awards program sony have must really help. Hopefully they will eventually release a sales chart just for PSV titles

Hmm looks like my starting set will be PSV wi-fi (unless i can find cheap 3G unit with not too expensive data plan at one of our operators).

16 gig card (other sizes make no sense economically for EU)

Wipeout + Super Stardust.

I think Uncharted is available for pre-order for those who are waiting for it in the US for 24.99. My friend pre-ordered it 2 days ago ;x.

Edit: It was at best buy.

darn too bad it seems they hiked the price up to 40 again :S

@zlejedi: sounds good dude...for me personally I think I will get PSV wi-fi, screen protector + 8GB card + Gravity + one more game..most probably a fighter since I will use that game for years (like Tekken PSP)

The memory card price is much better now. Dunno when, but I'm going to buy Wifi Only + 32gb card and, of course, Gravity Rush! Vita seems to be such an awesome hardware.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just saw the US prices for the memory cards, $99 is roughly £63. So hopefully I can import one from ebay around that price sooner to launch.

I also pre-ordered, Uncharted: Golden Abyss on Amazon for £28 earlier this week, the next day it had rose to £39.99. It will be interesting to see how the digital prices range. Got my eye on some more launch titles, exicting times!

Memory Card Prices

Looks like I will be getting 8 games, and a 32GB MS day one. The rest I will have to wait and see.

I was surprise too when I ordered a 32 GB 2 weeks ago from my local retailer. Mugen thought it might be my retailer selling lower then the MSRP but it seems like the MSRP is truely 99$. Still somewhat expensive but not as bad as the 119$ we have been hearing about.

120$ was never an official price just a sad product of sensationalist gaming "journalism" directly converting Yens to USD without thinking.

It was actually listed on ebgames site at that price. It obviously was a placeholder though. I think if you convert Yens to USD it would be even more expensive then this. But yeah, many peoples jumped on that price like it was the real one, enough that I was surprise to order it at 99$.

looking forward to Vita regardless, although i'm a late adopter. digital is the only way to go for me. Vita will win the 8th gen. handheld war on software and games support.

Is anyone buying the 3G version? Virtually every post I've seen on all forums has people listing the Wifi model. In Japan it was much more popular as well. What is the point of 3G on a gaming handheld anyway?
