not a single fucking new first party game at the event...that's what ticks me off the most

Sony is being so fucking stupid....if they had made puppeteer and rain vita exclusive it would have helped so damn much. But nah...their management is so incompetent they can't understand even such a simple thing

sorry for ranting..but I'm not joking when I say I feel like selling my stupid vita right now...and I have been VERY optimistic about everything as much as I can. But this treatment of vita fans is just garbage.

That would make too much sense for Sony to handle.

Also, first party games? Any exclusive at all? Why do you want that? You got new colours!!!

I'm going to sleep...

ok have been playing all stars and i just pre ordered now, of eb games. Anyone else currently on it? i actually really digging it, fat princess and general radec are my favorites, kratos is real good but he feels to familiar due to god of wars game play

I heard many people said Vita will not have any new announcement but we got 4 more then game announced in E3 and Gamescom so how the conference is bad?

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Didn't they just announce that SCEJ was doing some PS3 titles? Rain and Puppeteer?

Because everyone is over hyping themselves for games that won't be made till 2013 or 2014. There are big name developers that are apparently dragging their feet. Japanese publishers are too worried about money to take any risks and it is effectively stalling the system further. I think that they didn't plan ahead to develop for the new console till after it launched and aren't in any sort of rush, banking off the install base of the PSP and the PS3. Fans expect more momentum then they have gotten from a new console. Not that it won't be coming soon, but it had quite the stall this year with a poor level of content leaking out the last few months. Next year is already shaping up to be bigger, and we will start to see the important players launch their titles or announce them.

With that said it is odd that recent 1st party Japan studio titles are PS3 only. The marketshare in Japan is horrible for the Vita and they need new titles to come out that interest them. Some of that was seen today, but first party support would have helped it much further. On the other hand Sony needs to stack the PS3 with strong software to bolster the sale of their new PS3 model and gain higher profit levels to return the company back on its feet. Kaz is gearing things up for profitability and while the Vita is having difficulty gaining traction it isn't their higherst profit making device on the market and it can handle some down time, even if that down time is killing us Vita owners. Things like the PSP price cut are good things, those who are going to buy a PSP over a Vita would probably not buy a Vita at its current price regardless. This way Sony is increasing their user base among PSP owners who will be prime consumers of Vita in the future, all while raking in profits from a device they have been able to produce relatively cheap now.

It is not like Vita isn't getting support though, some big name titles are launching this year. Important first party studios are making Vita games. With TGS, the games have already been announced, there are plenty but they showed a lot of cards. It's the third parties turn to play. We will find out if the big players are getting in on the action later during the show.

Many PSP owners enjoyed the plethora of japanese titles the PSP had and expect the same from Vita. But the same reason publishers made games for PSP instead of PS3 is the same reason they are waiting too long to make them for Vita. They are stingy, somewhat. Those PSP owners are wondering where all the games they bought the system for are. Unfortunetly they are still in the early to mid developmental stages because many publishers were supporting the PSP still.

Or something like that.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

maybe people are disappointed due to be early adopters and expecting at least a wide range of Japanese games to choose from. Thats how i feel a little bit as psp memories are mostly of Japanese games when i think back now which makes the fact that persona 4 comes out so late this year and the fact that im forced to import even more annoying. But in saying that little big planet arrives tomorrow and the beta was real good so the games people make for that should be awesome to play during the holidays after exams
