Atelier Totori: The adventurer of Arland being ported to Vita? Perhaps!

That would be really strange unless they had some sort of prologue included...

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Some of the people I swear worship companies more than they actually enjoy the games that they produce which is just hilarious.

QFT.  I've actually thought about bringing this up with a few people on here.  Saying something like "Do you actually enjoy videogames?"

P.S. Hi Basil

So when is Tokyo Game show starting? Sometime in September right?

Guys, you should check this preview of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation:

Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation preview: Vita edition is dressed to kill

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is being billed as one of this year's essential PlayStation Vita titles, releasing alongside the hotly anticipated Assassin's Creed 3 for consoles to offer an exclusive adventure with an all-new lead.

With a living, breathing environment, a brand new protagonist and an interesting disguise mechanic, Ubisoft Sofia looks to have laid the foundations for another must-have Assassin's Creed release.

Dressed to kill

With a campaign lasting between 15 and 20 hours - and a mission structure allowing for both deep exploration and bite-size missions - Ubisoft Sofia has clearly designed Liberation with Assassin's Creed regulars and handheld enthusiasts in mind.

Unable to deliver on the same scale as a production as ambitious and exciting as Assassin's Creed 3, the team is looking for ways to innovate and extend the game's lifecycle beyond the main campaign.

Thanks to costumes, it's possible to play through the same mission multiple times with different outcomes. Ubisoft demonstrated three of these possibilities at gamescom 2012.

Aveline the assassin

Set against the backdrop of an occupied New Orleans in 1771, our first introduction to Aveline sees her undertake a routine assassination and recovery mission involving a military recruiter and some top-secret documents. Dressed in her standard assassin get-up, Aveline must enter a military compound undetected, a task made slightly easier with a whip and blow pipe.

Aveline begins by scaling the surrounding rooftops with the same grace and nimble feet as an Altaïr, Ezio or newbie Connor. Using the whip, Aveline is able to swing from rooftop to rooftop like a pre-Crystal Skull Indiana Jones. Taking care to avoid detection, our heroine uses a blow pipe to surreptitiously down guards before jumping down to a safe spot within the compound.

With the recruiter in sight and the guards dispersed, Aveline goes in for the kill, unfurling her deadly hidden blades into his chest and retrieving the documents in classic Assassin's Creed-style. After a brief altercation with the now alert soldiers, our plucky protagonist uses the chain kill feature as well as her whip to reel in enemies before delivering a fatal blow. Escaping the same way she entered, it seems like another day at the office for Aveline.

I'm a lady

Back at the beginning of the same mission, Ubisoft introduces the first of the game's disguises, revealing a little more about Aveline in the process. As the daughter of a wealthy merchant, Aveline is no stranger to aristocracy, handy when you're able to enter one of the town's costume booths and change into something a little more ladylike.

Dressed in the finest gown available, Aveline is now able to enter the compound through the front door, transforming the way the mission plays.

Waltzing through the main gate having paid off the soldiers, Lady Aveline uses her feminine charms to entice a guard, who provides an escort through the compound, protecting Aveline from threats, lowering suspicion levels and adding cover should she need it.

Harshly disposing of the guard in a quiet corner, Aveline loads up her unique parasol gun - after all, no lady should be without shade - shooting the spring-loaded poison dart at the recruiter without raising an ounce of suspicion.

Having retrieved the documents once more, Aveline must escape the area, but is unable to climb walls and jump from roof-to-roof. Once again it's time to use your feminine charm to close in on the exit, this time firing a beserker dart from her parasol to make the soldiers guarding the gate fight each other, leaving Aveline free to walk out undetected.

A servant's work is never done

Aveline's final disguise transforms her from a Lady in waiting to a lowly servant, which once again allows her to walk through the front gate, this time carrying a crate.

Unlike an aristocratic Aveline, her latest costume doesn't exude charm or wealth, which means Aveline must use the city's vagabonds to create a distraction. Bunging a few lowlifes some money sees them challenge the guards to a fight, causing a distraction and allowing Aveline to progress.

Stopping occasionally to sweep the streets among fellow servants, Aveline draws in closer to her target, finally getting close enough to pierce his heart with her hidden blades. Fortunately, unlike Lady Aveline in her fancy clothes, servant Aveline can scale rooftops, jumping from platform-to-platform and exiting the compound.

The ability to play through missions multiple times in vastly different ways is undoubtedly a noble attempt at offering value for money, while the game's impressive visuals, scope and size is in keeping with the main series.

Whether the final product can sneak up on Vita users and become this year's must-have release remains to be seen, but Aveline in any disguise is certainly showing a great deal of promise.

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation will be available exclusively for the PlayStation Vita on October 30.

Yep, I MAY be more excited for Assassin's Creed III: Liberation more than I am Assassin's Creed III, if for no other reason than I love the fact that it's on Vita. I love having my game follow me around, and while I do agree that ACIII will probably be the better game, Liberation looks...well, it looks special.

but Vita has no games.

I know it's only slightly Vita-related, but I thought I'd post this here because you guys are cool.  Sackboy's level 1 super, transforming into Parappa.  I hate to say it, but he's so cute! :P

Do you reckon he'll have a different special level 1 special based on who he's playing, or what level he's in?  That would be pretty cool.
