So when he said - A character whose development origin comes from a Japanese studio.

That could only mean that Its a character/game that is original deveploed in Japan but then moved eles where. The game that comes to mind are silent hill, dead rising, devil may cry. Its definily Dante and he"s a character that wields a sword. I just hope they use the original Dante design and not the Edward version :P

It could be Spike, or Snake/Raiden, or anyone from Final Fantasy as well.

Malicious Rebirth Vita

Thanks for this post!  I have Malicious on my download list right now.  I'm really excited to play it, but I could not believe the Colin Moriarty review of this game on IGN.  I hope he is wrong about this game because his review destroyed it.  I don't understand why their site has been on this over critical stance against Japanese PlayStation games as of late. I would like to see an old style review crew format to evaluate games.  Even if someone does not like JRPGs, shooters, racers, etc... it would be nice to get different opinions.

I used to post on a magazine forum a few years ago and stirred up a hornets nest with the magazine staff on the site.  I confronted them about not actually playing or finishing games from a thread I found  that some of them posted in years before.  In the old days most of the reviews for Genesis and Super Nintendo games were sometimes based off five minutes of CES playtime with no one actually beating the game. This was confirmed to me by the staff who lamented about games being too long today (2009 is when this happened).  My question was this. What if the game starts out great and is terrible later on or vice versa. Are you doing a disservice to the fans and the company if you do not do a complete review? If you can't finish the game do some partial reviews until it's complete. Their excuse was deadlines, but in the age of the internet why not extend the review process?

It only matters to me because I dislike finding out how dishonest most of the magazines (from my past) and websites (from today) really are. I guess my naivety was to blame.  Sorry for the rant.

Your first mistake was putting any weight in an IGN review.

ok so this is what I understand from seeing other people commenting on the game. To enjoy it properly, you MUST read through all the instructions at the start. If you do that the game can be a lot of fun :D but yea it's IGN..you know what they say..you can't spell ignorance without I.G.N.

@Exile: Grats man! And yeah I do wonder who the final boss is...I'm still rooting for Demo T Rex but I think it will be Polygon Head!

@SnakeDrake: that's the issue with his hints..as usual they are vague as fuck! 0_o his descriptions can be used to point and all sorts of characters.

Does anyone know if SuperBot has said anything about the leak so far?

aand in a different note, KRATOS is badass in MK! I swear if I hadn't known who he is, and saw him for the first time in MK, I would have had no trouble believing he is part of the original MK crew. He just belongs.

Nice to see a penciled in release date for WRC 3. The first 2 were competent WRC games and in the absence of a more arcadey option at the moment WRC 3 on Vita is a welcome addition to the release slate.

The official video game of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), WRC 3 marks a radical departure from the previous titles and sees the team using a completely new graphics and game engine, developed in-house, in order to bring the most advanced WRC driving experience to players. WRC 3 features all the rallies in the 2012 WRC calendar, complete with all leading WRC teams and drivers in the revamped career mode.

WRC 3 also features a brand new graphics engine, called Spikengine, allowing Milestone to accurately model lighting, particle effects and other real-world characteristics to create an in-game virtual reality, offering complete immersion in the WRC universe. The cars themselves showcase new modelling techniques -- they have never looked as life-like, or handled as realistically, as in WRC 3. Milestone has streamlined every aspect of the game to allow new players instant gameplay satisfaction, while still allowing experienced rally gamers to explore the game’s full range of features and drive a WRC car from the comfort of their own home. As well as all this, the game has improved crowd effects, rebuilt stages and new cinematic introductions to each stage. WRC 3 features more than 50 official WRC teams, alongside Class 2 and Class 3 series. WRC 3 also offers amazing Super Special Stages.

Current down for a September 12th release on Amazon.co.uk which means pretty much the week before Little Big Planet and 2 weeks before FIFA 13 >_< September gets more expensive! Doesn't seem to be any Vita media yet sadly :( but it's not got a 3DS version so unlike F1 2012 etc it shouldn't just be a simple 3DS port.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

So I was just browsing the PS Store and I noticed Gravity Rush's ratings. They are over 7,000 and only a couple hundred behind Motorstorm RC which is free in the US. Even Uncharted is only over 5,000 and that goes for Stardust Delta too. That's pretty damn good even though we can't get any official digital sales numbers.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I guess I'm pretty alone in my complete lack of interest in Playstation All Stars....

In other news, I am excited for Ragnarok to finally release here and hoping that XSeed formally announces Ys Vita.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
