Now that we've seen the new Nintendo console controller and had some minor meltdowns, it's about time we rub our braincells and start thinking about how that controller could change games (preferably for the better...).

Let's start with Fatal Frame, a horror game where you use a camera to kill off ghosts. Imagine playing that on the WiiU! You could use the gyroscope to control the flash light and when you encounter a ghost all you have to do is raise the controller and catch the ghost on the screen.

It could be used in a similar way in a Metroid game to scan stuff, or in Pokémon Snap to snap Pokémon. I'd bet that Pokémon Snap U would sell a megaton.

What games do you think would be awsome with the new controller?

I want Kirby, and Smash Bros, and a great third party FPS. And a Mario Kart that is as addicting as MKDS. But those aren't really related to the controller, but oh well.

How about MMO's or RPG's that have a big huge of special abilites to select

no more radial menus needed to select, just click the ability on teh controller

ha just waht i was thinking.  I was thinking of League of Legends which is by the dota guys.

but you have all your commands on teh controller and possibly can move the camera down tehre too.  You know like the tv ALWAYS follows your champion, but controller you can move the camera around the map to see what you want wheneve ryou want
