I will buy the console. that`s for sure.
About games, i liked Ghost Recon on Xbox 360 so this new one or future iterations are welcomed.
I tried the Darkstalkers demo and really liked - still have to buy the game - so the second one might be a purchase for me!

First party games are a given! :)

Its doesn't feel like a nintendo console

Not planning on buying it, I'll stick to my old Wii

The new Super Smash Bros. game for sure on day one.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge looks badass.
BTW: I think EA will have some creative ideas for the WiiU after seeing EA's President at the Press Conference.

1) Darksiders 2, because people say it's Zelda-like, and I like games like Zelda.

2) Ghost Recon - I like the Ghost Recon concept (3rd person tactical shooter), plus I really enjoyed Ghost Recon: Shadow Warriors on my 3DS, though it's not exactly the same type of game, but still...

3) Lego City Stories - it's Lego, it's open world, sounds interesting. Depends on player impressions.

4) Assassin's Creed - 3rd person stealth + action, interesting story, people like the series, sounds good to me.

If we assume that Wii U will get most of the future multiplats, i'd say Soul Calibur 5, maybe BioShock Infinite.

See, i tend to buy my games based on what's available when, set against those games i determine to be absolute must-haves, and i'm actually not that picky, so i'll buy whatever looks good, likely...

Oh yeah, of the confirmed ones, Ninja Gaiden looks pretty neat.

But it'll likely have 2D Mario... (started with a tech demo for it, has to be a good sign...)

I have everything :P but I'm actually most excited for Batman: AC, even though its multiplat.

Also, the eventual Army of Two #3 game from EA.

The tech Demo was NSMB Wii with Miis, not a new 2D Mario

The whole direction of the system is wrong as well, just a 2D Mario alone won't b enough to change that, it basically counter to everything the Wii was about, so they'll have to really wow me with a change in direction before I see any reason to buy it (a big difference from Wii, of which I was sold on day one after seeing the controller and stood in line for eight hours in the cold rain on launch day)

Arkham City will be good, I just hope that they start coding for the Wii U for future multiplats. I cannot wait until i can see the first glimpse of smash bros. I was hoping for at least a 5 second trailer
