According to Nintendo financial statements, there were 3.61 M 3DSes shipped by March 31

According to VGChartz, there were

1.85 M 3DSes sold by April 2

2.87 M 3DSes sold by May 28

It seems to me that this shows some undertracking, and if it doesn't then there was a lot of extra stock somewhere. Has anyone got any thoughts?

P.S. If VGChartz staff are reading this, I know you are busy with E3 and that this was a terrible time to mention this :P

idk sounds like nintendo shipped a bit more. but who knows.

It's not unsual for a there to be a large amount of stock but still I do think it maybe under-tracked slightly. Not unusal for VGChartz these past couple of years.

3DS continues to have little to no presence in retail flyers around Canada. Wonder why.
