Well at least not for software (exclusives) Little Big Planet 2 had a great metascore but bombed in sales due to the bad release date. Killzone 3 was my favoutire FPS of all time! But got a 86 meta which I think is just crazy! Socom 4 failed in metascore and sales! Had a 67 metascore and not that great sales. Infamous 2 has an 85 meta but looking at IGN's review 9/10 made me happy but then I saw the 7.5/10 review which made me really confused! Uncharted 3 and RE3 are coming out this year with many other big titles like Rachet the last guardian agent e.t.c.

I really hope I'm wrong because there is no game so far that passed or even close to the previous game but hopefully Uncharted 3 and RE 3 will change everthing. So do you agree with me? Yes or No?

I think the problem is theres just so many not everyone can buy them all.
Say half of them were not announced or released....the other half would have automatically done better because they would have received more attention and there would have been a lower selection to chose from.
The notion that all these games should sell like 4m each and all score in the 90's while coming out so close to each other is absurd.

That's very true. I bought so many games for PS3 this year much more than my norm.

Portal 2 (PS3), MK (PS3), Killzone 3(PS3), Little big planet 2(PS3), , LA Noir (PS3), God of war collection (PS3) and bought AC2 and AC brotherhood for the 360.
