Not breaking a sweat.

4gb of RAM 800MHz, dual core 2.8GHz AMD 5400+

EDIT: Guess what game I'm talking about with Lee

Around the Network

An Altlon X2 3800+ and Geforce 7800GT ...

Its a little outdated but (generally speaking) plays most PC games at a similar framerate and resolution as the XBox 360 does ...

32mb of ram?

What are you insane?

I have 2gb of ram.

Well, yeah. But you don't mention the graphics settings.

You couldn't run Crysis at Ultra with a similar resolution and framerate to the 360.

Hell, mmy Inspiron 1100 could run Pacman at a similar resolution and framerate to how the 360 could do it.

Well, I haven't kept up with the benchmarks (mainly because the GT was an unpopular card and is not benchmarked much) but many of the same games (FEAR as an example) would run at either 1024x768 (with AA and AF) or 1280x1024 (with no AA or AF) between 30fps and 60fps at similar graphical settings (often medium) ...

I'm pretty sure games like Bioshock run better on the 360 but I would suspect not by much ...

Yeah but you don't need to run Crysis on "ultra" settings to compare it to a 360 game.  Crysis on medium is probably comparable to a 360 game...and Crysis on medium is still enjoyable.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Ah, that's pretty nice. I was under the impression that F.E.A.R was the highest in gfx standards about a year ago.

Well, I only just recieved this computer. Unfortunatly, I ordered an 8800gt to go with it, but it's out of stock.
So DinoPc very kindly leant me a 7300le just so I could use the computer. Man, what a terrible card; but it does its job, at least.

I can't stand it when i can't run a game with everything on the highest. so I have upgraded recently. (crysis)

Optimistic predictions for 2008 (Feb 5 2008): Wii = 20M, PS3 = 14M, X360 = 9.5M

My Dell is fine, I can run as many tabs as I want with my 2 gigs of ram, it's just that my comp hates adobe flash players, especially youtube. It always closes down with more than one tab of youtube up.
