Well, the meaning (and phonetic similarity) of "Wii" was explained along with the reveal. Maybe this will too. It still sounds too much like an "aspirational lifestyle" thing though; remeniscent of marketing techniques which are growing old.

well i dislike it. vita is so hard sounding, it doesn't roll of tongue smooth.   both the v and t are hard sounds and dont' like them together in something like this.

and then there is the short hand. PSV sounds like PS3, and it looks like PS5

Well I'll be calling it PSV then, in which case it wont sounds so bad.
