Forums - Nintendo - Lulzsec claims to have hacked nintendo

Was it actually Nintendo or just their mailing list? o.O

It was their actual website, essentially they went in and copied the servers jargon, then posted it online to prove they were in there.

mother fuckers ... is what i said in the sony pictures hacked thread and it still applies.

I think this hack is a good thing. At least, Nintendo would be more secured once they get out of the stone age.

Is it just me or are hackers becoming progressively more annoying this year? >_<

Dunno how this specific attack is annoying but it seems like Sony unleashed a rather large can of worms when they sued Geohot and made it very public that they raided peoples homes over the PS3 hacking business.  This is the reason you DON'T DO THAT, banning peoples accounts, giving them warnings, etc are all fine, when you actually go after people who obviously know how to work on conputers and eletronics, you're going to have issues, cause it won't be the people you go after that will lash back it will be the people you offend by taking such drastic measures, many groups formed to back up Geohot and the other guys that were caught up in that mess, so you have people like Anon doing DDoS attacks, Phantom hacking PSN, and now Lulzsec hacking everything they can.

Once the ball starts rolling that's when you see groups like lulzsec with no real cause for their hacking they see others doing it and want some attention, which is why they have a twitter, a site they promote, and going after big targets like Sony, Nintendo, and apparently the FBI.

Damn these newfangled browsers with their tabbed browsing! *shakes first*

All the hacker stories in the news are becoming quite irritating. Instead of hurting gamers, why not help them? Take down Metacritic! It would do the industry a world of good. ;)

"But I don't want to go among mad people!" said Alice. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat. "We're all mad here."
