I like how Vista uses so much ram that my brand new laptop with 1 gig of ram and with nothing installed except for what it came with, needs a ram upgrade just to boot up in a reasonable amount of time

wow.. thats bad. Lets leave vista I made this thread to talk about tech products the good and the bad. Not how much vista sucks.

Definately like the iPhone. Only played around with it a little but its so sleek and smooth. Only downfall is AT&T exclusive. I have nothing against it being available for AT&T but I have Verizon and refuse to switch.

I vote iPhone

best should be iPhone, amazing device

worst should be...umm....too hard to say.

I got the beta, and my laptop took like 5 minutes to turn on, again with 1GB RAM. So I installed XP on my other hard drive, so I could run both, only it did not work properly so when I turn my computer on it offers me the choice of XP or XP and I can't delete Vista off my hard drive, so I am running out of space. This means that it now takes me about 10 minutes for my computer to be fully functional.

Best device: iPod touch. You will all say it is inferior to an iPhone, but for me it has more room, can do everything the iPhone can do except the phone stuff, and is less likely to brick when hacked.

mac's best Vista holly shit hehe

Your allowed vista at work? Most places are XP only. Unless your in the tech feild then its mac.

What tech field do you work in? I have been programming for over 5 years PLUS and additional 4 years at my university and have NEVER seen anyone code on a Mac in any work environment. I one teacher and only a few people at school using a mac. In fact, i have seen more people using a Linux based machine than a Mac.

Sorry, but like all other industries (except maybe graphics design), Windows is, by far, dominant.

As for Vista, yeah I'm waiting to build a new PC when Vista SP2 is released.
