Forums - General - LulzSec challenges FBI

Hacking isn't that easy to trace. They could make a clean attempt on the pentagon if they wanted to and not need to worry. Theres a program out there I forget the name which allows you to bounce your hack around the world some 500 times before coming out at the target destination. The problem is that it's SLOW!!!!

Or they could take over other peoples computers and get them to run the hack. Government can trace whatever they like, but if the source is an innocent third party who didn't even know there computer was compromised....

The ones who get caught are usually the stupid ones. For instance, the people who hacked Valve and got HL2's source code, contacted Gabe Newell and was "making arrangements to work for Valve". The point was to get him to come to America to serve his crime here, but germany found out and arrested him there.

I don't know what your talking about but I have plenty of nice things.

Man these hackers are stupid. The US is now going to consider attacks on its sites to be acts of war. So the first thing that goes through their heads is, lets make an act of war against the most powerful nation on earth. Then take credit for it and brag all over the internet.

While its true they could hide their identity and not be traced from a single attack. But bragging about it and such sooner or later your going to slip up and the FBI will trace it back to you and bang your in the slammer.

Unless they are really smart and are operating in a country with no extradition policy with the US. However even as such if you piss the US off enough and they consider it an act of war, your country might not be so willing to protect you!

The hacking = act of war thing is only for hacking done/sponsored by other governments.

You're not going to see the U.S. Congress declare war on Lulzsec (unfortunately, because it would be freaking hilarious).

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

waw this is getting exciting hope they could crack the fbi and release all the documents about area 51 and all alien encounters or UFO encounter. would be pretty awesome to know that stuff

Which is what makes this response even more hilarious because it has nothing to do with these criminal hacks, haha. For as smart as these people are in their niche they lack a lot of common sense comprehension.

These guys are really, really stupid.

It's one thing to break into Sony Pictures, which nobody cares about or uses. But to challenge the FBI...

"really, really" doesn't cut it.

These guys are unbelievably stupid. Like, outrageously stupid. Like Albert Einstein reversed and then some...

Lol an albert einstein reversed that's good stuff, but yes these guys must be retarded for challenging the FBI

Truly they are role models for idiots everywhere.
