That FAQ really taught me a lot. Except for how you actually get the points. "Profile, Game Database, Social, Misc" doesn't really tell me that much. Oh well, it's not like I'll ever bother being active enough to win this, I'm just interested in seeing what gives you the points. Couldn't find a reply to it within the first 50 posts, so I gave up with looking through the posts.

Heh, if I was motivated enough, I could get a lot of points. Hell, I still have about 300 or so more games in my collection I could add, but I don't rate the games I haven't played. Cheats seem to be the main focus for me, for some reason, as they seem the easiest to find, but the most annoying to add to the site. Adding new games to the site is basically impossible with you guys. I could see something like screenshots being easy too, but a pain to add.

I kind of figured that screenshots with site tags on them wouldn't be allowed (why taking screens from something like GameFAQs can be troublesome, since Gamespot watermarks their screens sometimes), and they would need to be pretty good sized ones, too (like you said, no thumbnails). I tend to go for games that have under 10 screenshots, since it's easier to keep track of doubles.

The most annoying cheat for me is trophies/achievements lists. They take a good amount of time to type up and you have to double check them to make sure there aren't any errors in values. I hate going to games and seeing cheats that were added that don't really go in-depth about the method or contain very little information.

It's also weird, to me at least since I've been a member of GameFAQs for over 11 years (MasterVG782 is my moniker there), that you cannot really keep track of what cheats/games/info you have added to the system. Maybe down the line, there could be a way to keep track of something like this that could be added to the site, especially since the site is being toted as trying to contain a very comprehensive database of games.
