I used GAF's Wii homebrew tutorial to install custom IOS248. But when I use the configurable USB loader, it says it "can't find Custom IOS 248, please install it"
I know I succesfully installed 248 because my other USB loaders are able to read my back ups from my hard drive. What should I do here?

That being said, I'm not opposed to modders, as long as they don't do anything that gives users of their final product some sort of edge in online and/or competitive gaming,  If it's something simple like modded clothes to fit a character's form, like that one chick in .hack//LEGEND (the soft-canon anime series, not the hard-canon manga) did. I'm okay with that. But if it's something like impenetrable armor that makes the user completely invincible but cannot be removed and further gives control of your character and your personal information to the sick, twisted bastard who made it, then that would be something that I wouldn't want in any game I'd want to play. As for a comparison involving console modders, I'd be perfectly happy to deal with one of Ben Heck's handheld versions of home consoles. As long as he doesn't include any cheating mechanisms or homebrew, I'd be cool with that. When homebrew comes into play, that kinda pisses me off.

@allaboutthegames885, I don't even play online and whenever I decide to start, I won't cheat. It takes away the fun of knowing I COULD beat you. I just want to be able to play the back ups of my games, which I can already do for some of them, but the dual layer games need this configurable usb loader which refuses to find something I've already installed.

So you just want to play the games you already have without the discs! But for some reason, I think that could lead to playing games you don't own the copy of, and that, my friend, is piracy. Are you a pirate? Would you be able to hold your own on the seas off the coast of Somalia? Or do you just wear an eyepatch like some poser? If you answered yes to any of those questions (even the one about the eyepatch), I don't think we can be friends.

I can't be of much help, but I'd recommend asking on a more techical site like Wiihacks.com or Wiihaveaproblem.com (clever name). I'm going to guess that your not going to find much help here and I'm not sure I can stand any more lame pirate jokes like the one posted above me.

Smoking weed is perfectly legal in some places. It also doesn't harm others or their busineses like piracy does.

Ummm...yes i agree about the Piracy. Did you not read my first post?. All i did was write down some Pirate joke! And i got chewed out more then the Pirate!!! But i put down that i don't agree with his Piracy...Off Topic.. Is weed legal where you are? If not, your breaking the law, the same as piracy, the same as....um.....bribery?
