If they do get rid of all SKU's besides the Kinect bundle, and drop the price $100 to $299.99. I think that'd be ideal. It'd justify the pricing for parents as well.

Not a good marketing strategy.  To all of a sudden have the only SKU be the most expensive console on the market (assuming PS3 does $50 price cut as well) would not be a good marketing strategy.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

I would say those are nice sized price drops.

Dont think it is reactionary at all. MS has had to be planning price drops for awhile now. If anyone was reactionary think it was Nintendo reacting to Wii sales just falling bigtime this year.

I think it is reactionary, but only as far as the date, I would of thought Microsoft would of waited longer into the year before dropping the price, but with Nintendo lowering the Wii price early, i think Microsoft wanted to keep Kinect and 360 momentum in America and try not too lose to many sales to the Wii in EMEAA

I hope they don't completely drop the non-kinect sku's. I love the support for Kinect, but the lower price on the non-kinect sku's is a very good selling point.

Either way the deal seems like a great one.

well their for kinect is Project Draco which is created by the panzer dragoon creater  Yukio Futatsugi and also created Phantom dust one of my all time favorties for the xbox1

Oh I agree with you about upcoming Kinect titles. Project Dragon has me interested, and I really would like head tracking with Forza 4. I'm just a cheap ass gamer, I only buy 1-2 games a year new, and full price. Last Year it was GT5 and Halo, this year it will likely be Mass Effect 3 and Gears 3.



ah im not a mass effect guy , i tried the first just couldnt get into it which idk i like rpgs but couldnt get into mass effect and im lookin forward to gears of war 3 , modern warfare 3 and some kinect games woo i always buying games but that why i work to make the money lol

Mass Effect 1 only gets good at the end. You have to slum through 5 or 6 hours before the game starts to get interesting. It's also more of a hybrid shooter/RPG then full out RPG.

If anything, try out ME2, and play it as if it were a shooter. ME2 basically has become my favorite game of all time because not only is the story interesting, but the pacing is perfect, and the whole exploration thing, and universe is so well designed. I love it, I have every single DLC and soon I will have ME2 maxed out on ahcievements.

I want MW3 too, but $60 is too much for me, especially since Infinity Ward fell apart (MW3 is being developed by IW and Sledgehammer). However MW2 was so amazing, and Black Ops was just a huge disapointment for me. I'll likely get it on a Boxing Day sale (Similar to Black Friday, but it's the day after Christmas).

ya black ops single player campaign good but the  online doesnt compare to modern warfare but i did like the bots on black ops tho

Have not played single player, but seriously Black Ops online is much better than freaking MW2 is probably the worst online FPS that people actually play. How fun is it when 60% of your kills comes from killstreaks?

More price cuts are needed across the board for the 6 year old XBox 360, soon to enter its 7th year.

Err? I've gotten like maybe 15 nukes all in all, every single one of them most of my kills where with Harrier strike, plus chopper gunner. I get a lot of chopper gunners etc in Black Ops too, but at least there they don't add to your kill count and you don't have freaking danger close, which makes them OP.

Yes all of these matches are public online and i would probably be raped in clan matches, i still think im better than 90% of the people on this page in COD though.
