Sony has reiterated that it intends to release the Next-Generation Portable (NGP) in 2011.  there’s still no word yet on exactly how many territories will receive the handheld before the year wraps, or if the planned 2011 release pertains to Japan only.

Sony also reaffirmed that it aims to have PlayStation Network fully restored by the end of this month.  LINK

Good news...damn I'm soo ready for E3 now! NGP! and I don't know about you guys but NGP name is starting to grow on me...they should just change what it stands for lol

NGP is the thing im looking forward to most this year, really is an interesting bit of tech, with its 2 multi touch surfaces.

really looking forward to ngp here too. i think i'l do away with console gaming and just use it

a GTA/Elder Scrolls for it would be awesome. 

if it is priced right and has some big titles (like a GTA - and there's a COD coming for it), there's no reason why it can't beat the 3ds.
