I live in Melbourne and we host one of the (or the) biggest horse Racing event in the world, the Melbourne Cup. So being so i have seen lots of horse racing games, there were an few for ps2 back in the day, and go to any arcade joint there is those horse riding machines tho they are drawf by the large amounts of shooter games.

Also it appears that with SONY japanese developers can easily make and sell japanese games in japan at an really rapid place. The amount of games being release in japan is amazing when you think about it for the PSP and PS3 systems.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
