We're good this quarter - remember they announced it early.

For those curious Sony projects to ship 15m PS3s, 6m PSPs, and 4m PS2s - but this could very well be the last growth year for PS3 on a global basis - and thats assuming they ship 15m - they had projected that in the year to March 2011 when they only shipped 14.3m

About 568k on the shelves as of April 2nd.
Compared to
656k for the 360
270k for the Wii
PSP and PS2 are trickier due to the switch from production to retail shipments. For the PS2 though, VGC has 2010 sales 2.31 million lower than shipments. 950k lower for 2009. So far for 2011 it is 427k lower than shipments.
I wonder what haters on N4G and Neogaf will say when once again VGC is spot on, heh :)

Doesn't seem like much mention of the NPG? But I reckon that won't help profits as they will probably have to sell that at a loss, at least initially, which would probably negatively affect them for this FY, especially if it doesn't come out until March
making very good operating income gains, the business is quite healthy underneath.
ps3 seemingly will peak this year then at only 15m? I thought its peak might have been larger.
ngp looks to be a 2012 release i'm afraid, unless projections haven't been made as sony wants to assess the success of the 3ds first.
