I've been looking at the VGC ranking game fourm for GT5. A significant amount of people quoted on the bad graphics. I've been playing the game since Novemeber and I think it looks much better than games like Halo, Call Of Duty Black Ops, Modern Warfare series, Gears games and a lot of PS3 games too. People should not expect the game too be like Uncharted 2, God of War 3 e.t.c. That's the best games graphics can get in today's world. Do you think that GT5 has bad graphics. I honestly think that it isn't the best, but it isn't as bad as people are talking about. I would give a 9/10 for graphics. Most people will give a 6 or 7 which I think is untrue. Do you you think the visuals for GT5 are good?

Yes. And the problem is that it didn't deliver on the promises.

Definitely. Sometimes it looks like a PS3 game and sometimes it looks like a PS2 game. That's unacceptable for a game of this stature. The gap between the visually good and visually bad is so huge, it can at times totally pull me out of the game.

Uncharted 2? Beautiful. God of War 3? Amazing. GT5? Probably the least impressive graphics I have seen on PS3.

well the premiun cars and the city tracks are impressive ,   but some standard cars and old tracks dont look as good

I don't think you've seen that many if that's the case.

GT5 is one of the best looking games of the generation.

Yeah its nice looking. Had some weird graphical issues at launch but those have been sorted out by updates. The worst you could say about this is that its got some bland areas.

OP: I would call GT5's graphics inconsistent. Sometimes they're awesome (rally tracks, premium cars), and sometimes mediocre (mostly recicled tracks from previous games).
