Forums - Microsoft - Personalized MS press badge hints at E3 Halo reveal

http://www.destructoid.com/personalized-ms-press-badge-hints-at-e3-halo-reveal-201846.phtml

My pass for Microsoft's E3 press conference just arrived, and it's the first multiple choice badge I've received for any event.

The Mad Libs-style pass comes with blank spaces for various things including: "Status," "Favorite hero," "Accessory of choice," "Master of," "Motto," and "Today's Perk." The accompanying stickers allow for attendees to personalize their passes, with references to Gears of WarTomb RaiderBatman, and theStar Wars Kinect game announced at last E3.

Most interesting, however, is the inclusion of multiple stickers that reference Microsoft's blockbuster Halofranchise. While nothing has been announced at this time, it's been rumored the publisher may be ready to reveal its next big title in the Halo universe. We've been hearing everything from an HD remake of 2001'sHalo: Combat Evolved, to a game that fully utilizes Microsoft's hands-free Kinect.

While a simple "choose your own adventure" sticker badge isn't confirmation, it's certainly opening the floor for some good old fashioned speculation. Microsoft's conference kicks off E3, taking place on the morning of Monday, June 6. If I can figure out what my perk is that day, we'll be there.

well...GLaDOS?

I refuse to get excited. After the Nelson hype train that ran into a brick wall, I don't believe it until it happens.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

I fully expect something Halo to be announced.  Whether it be a new Halo Reach map pack, an anniversary collector's edition of the old games, or even something new, but I expect something Halo.  Would be really hard for MS to go through an E3 and not talk about something that concerns their largest franchise haha.  I just hope it isn't a Halo Kinect game... I'd scream.

I wonder what's up with the nunchuks, axe and a sword.

And F-22 :p

Sword looks like Kingdoms to me, which better be core, better be awesome and better be soon!!

Don't take this the wrong way but I'd say if these stickers are signs of a Halo remake, I'd say they are also a sign of a FF7 remake and an MGS4 port.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

I'm excited about the sword but it's probably Skyrim so i'm not getting too excited.

Looks like Microsoft has made a deal for exclusive DLC for both Tomb Raider and Batman: Arkham City.

Sword = ?  Possibly some sort of RPG or new IP?

Axe = ?  I'm thinking probably Codename Kingdoms but could be anything.

Lightsaber = Star Wars Kinect

Car = Forza 4

Plane = Flight sim of some sort?  Or possibly the reveal of Battlefield 3's jet combat which has been hinted at in trailers.

Nunchucks =  ?  Could be anything I have no idea.

Xbox = New reveals for the console like the updated new dashboard.  And price cut.

Lancer =  Gears of War 3 footage and also some info on Gears of War : Exile.

Guitar =  Something new from Rock Band, remember Rock Band Beatles was on the front stage of MS E3 couple years ago.

Kinect =  New game announcements and possibly some hardware updates like the patch that is coming up which is supposed to allow finger tracking and much more accurate controls.

Xbox Live =  New partnership annoncements similar to Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, and Twitter.  Also some Xbox Live games such as Alan Wake Night Springs and possibly Shadow Complex 2.

Halo Energy Sword:  Either Halo CE remake or Halo 4.  Or possibly even both with one coming this holiday and the other next year.

Lightning Bolt:  Could be Metal Gear Rising, since its tagline is lightning bolt action.  Or could possibly stand for a new IP.

Anyways here's some guesses some of which may be true some which may not be.  Either way if half of this is true it would be a pretty decent conference.
