Yeah I know what you mean, for the most part they are unrelated games but I figured it would get even more confusing having individual votes for Wii Play, Wii Party, Wii Music, and Wii Sports. It was easier just to roll them into the "Wii series" and have 1 vote counted since they do carry some similarities. Yeah because Wii Sports being a Sports game and Wii party being a mini-game collection and Wii music being a music game is for sure the same as Final Fantasy 1-13 all being RPGs...

Game series does not need to be tied to a common genre to be considereda series

Thats are plenty of games that dont share a common genre each time but are consiered part of the same series

See. With the lists I posted, you had to have an account on the site and be an active forum poster. You only got one vote. With the poll you posted, I could vote on it once a day and create a whole bunch of accounts that I will never use for anything else just to get extra votes. That's how the polls work here.

7 out of the top 10 games in one list are Nintendo exclusive. 1 more is a Nintendo multi. 8/10 games on Nintendo platforms. 10 out of the top 15 games in the other list are Nintendo exclusive. 3 more are Nintendo multi. 13/15 games are on Nintendo platforms.

This site has a far bigger Nintendo following that people like to admit. VGChartz has been a haven for Nintendo fans since the site started...
