I don't care if SEGA handles it or Nintendo takes it in-house or whatever so long as Nintendo is staring intently over the shoulder of whoever's doing the grunt work.
I just
I just need F-Zero so bad, you guys

Though I would prefer a 3DS release, hoping to dodge needing buy the next Nintendo console. |
It's like
It's like you're trying to come up with ideas that are awful. Eve if you hold this position (which is preposterous) in earnest, why not just ask for more content?
out of all the series Nintendo decided not to milk...why is F-zero one of them!!!!!

I would prefer a cheaper priced DLC game to a full price retail release just padded with extra cars/tracks. A DLC game could hold plenty enough. At the end of it to me I don't think the gameplay is worth a full retail price. |
Now I'm dry-heaving
I would like to see F-Zero released on the 3DS and their next home console system. They should be able to connect together and share exp, cash, etc. You should be able to build your own ship like in GX. That would satisfy my F-Zero fix.

OK, tell me what significant content you think is worth the difference between a £12 DLC game and £35 retail release. |
Now I'm dry-heaving again, but this time it's at your attempt to obfuscate the point. Your rejection is based on the gameplay, not the content. Here's your justification for a retail release:
F-Zero is the most fun racer on the market, which all other arcade racers are only stopgaps between.

what I was thinking.
I was thinking of picking up one of these games, either from the virtual console or GX. Which one?

Get the (N64) F-Zero X and (GCN) F-Zero GX at the least. GX is very hard but has a ton of extras like building your own craft etc.. I enjoyed F-Zero X a lot back during N64 days. Time might not have been the best but as long as you have an open mind and not complete graphics whore you will enjoy F-Zero X a lot even today. F-Zero X was built for speed and it still has plenty of that. You can get GX from Amazon for about 5-6 dollars. That is a steal if you ask me. Picking that up used from Amazon and d/ling the VC F-Zero X would cost you about 15-16 dollars for two great games.

I'm a big fan of GX but it is extremely hard at times (especially the brutal campaign mode :-O ). Would you recommend getting X for some less competitive action? i.e. is it a more 'casual' F-Zero?
Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
