Though I would spark off a thread as to the state of Play region by region of the PSN.

I'm a new PS3 owner and am more than a little ticked off that I cannot access the online since purchase but I knew of the network problems beforehand so I guess I have to take it on the chin.

What I wont take lying down is the appalling lack of information about the state of play region by region.

I need to know if I have network problems or is the PSN up and down like a whores draws.

I guess if we all post on this thread our location and experiences the picture may be a little clearer.

NW London, ENGLAND - NO PSN - site undergoing maintenance.

It has been up everywhere for ages now -- but only phase one.

 The Playstation Store is still down and account creation might still be down so if you don't have a PSN account that is probably your issue.

Whole of England is up, are you sure you are upto date with 3.61?

Yeah totally up to date.

My problem is account creation. I guess if everyone else is able to log on its just us new owners who are being left in the cold.

Hell of a way to reward those that bought despite the problems !

Thanks for replying guys guess I will just have to wait.

Right now, the main focus is on those who are trying to update their passwords, I think there are more updaters than new starters so they are focusing where they think the need to.
