Click the source for the story, I couldn't embed the video so didn't see the sense in posting just the Kotaku story.  Be warned, the video has spoilers.

All I have to say is context is everything.  The things making fun of you are trying to kill you and they're supposed to be bad things.  I would have to imagine that if the parents hadn't made such a big deal of this the kids would have never thought twice about it.

It's like getting mad at Disney for a villain mocking the hero for being a do-gooder.

Omg HE'S STUPID!

GLaDOS asked to Wheatley right before that clip "What, exactly, is wrong with being adopted?" and that's when he answers. And besides, GLaDOS says that it's "terrible" to be adopted because it's sad not because it's wrong.

It's right here at 10:25

Ugh.

But it's understandable that his child could have taken those words with a little more meaning than they have and totally fail the context of them. The context isn't hard to miss for a child that only wants to play a game for fun. The thing is when you reach those parts in the game, the story get much more visual and it's easy to a child to pay more attention to them.

Not standing for this cause though, but that father have my sympathy.

WTF they totally blamed sony at the end

The game is E10 . Irresponsible father I say. It's easy to put the blame on anyone.

The thing is the girl didn't even care! the guy was the one making all that fuss about it, you can see she's just playing in the video, clearly she didn't give a fuck

And i agree with you. I just stated that i fell sorry that such situation could even happen and gave my point of view about it.

I love how they "contacted sony" why didnt they "contact MS" while they were at it... better yet go contact EA or Activision...

I don't understand what he means when he says he doesn't know how to handle the situation.  The girl isn't bothered by it so what is there to handle?  And, he keeps letting her play it.  If it's so offensive, why is she still playing?

It's just hard to believe a full grown man is that upset about this.  Maybe he just wanted to be on the news or is a huge Sony troll.
