Forums - General - Trump's presidential election clown car's stopped, & his other failures

I actually was hoping for him to run for President. I really think the current field of Republicans is atrociously weak and most if not all of them at this point look like sacrificial lambs.   People can point out the failures of Trump, but don't acknowledge his successes and seem to forget that many presidents had merely nothing more then some median work in the Senate and very little experience in making impact decisions prior to becoming President.

This country needs fresh philosophy and a transition from this current political landscape.  It's doing nothing but bringing this country down.  If Trump was the man to bring that freshness, I would welcome him with open arms.

Also... trump the game is confusing as hell.  I bought it at a thrift store 4-5 years ago.

Did you get the older version, or the newer one which had "You are fired!" on the box?  I personally had little trouble with either version actually.  Then again, I play a lot of Euro boardgames.

Older version.  I just remember it involved putting money into boxes and swapping it around and such.

He wanted to claim oil fields in the Middle East by force. That's making a good effort at starting WWIII.

Trump running for president was only ever really a publicity stunt in the first place, wasn't it?

Well trump is rich,so he must of done something right. Sure he's had some screw up's,but who in the world of business hasn't? I'm not really a trump fan though and thought his talk of running for president was also a joke.

I don't believe i heard those words from his mouth.  More of something along the lines of the United States needs to stop taking a passive, 2nd best role and essentially getting screwed ten different ways when making a deal especially in the Middle East relating to Oil.

What the US needs is a tyrant who completely ignore the corrupted officials and behead them all.

What he did right was being born into wealth.  Then, you end up being addicted to huge deals that are high risk, and throwing them together.  If you have a lot of money to start and take big risks, some will pay off.  In doing that, you can hire somewhat competent and if the economy breaks right, do well.

You would pump cash into the properties to increase their value, and I believe cards could be used to mix things up.  There is an auction mechanism.  The newer version simplified things actually.

He did more right than being born into wealth.  He's nearly tripled or even more his  wealth he was born into (Even after losing tons of money various times).

In the business world, (especially Real Estate) you are bound to have ups and downs.  The problem is when you have High-stakes, High-price Real Estate your failures get magnified ten fold.

More to the point, he's had more experience brokering large-scale deals than our current Community organizer and he understands very well the process of huge big budget business and transactions relating to this.  (Which correlates very well with the large deals this country makes.).

I would prefer a guy who has had his ups and downs and is still more alive than ever in business than a guy who has never touched a business (Not even a hot dog stand)  running this country.
