also, i suspect the psn involvement but cant prove it yet. probably something to do with the self destruct signal that psn has been sending to the appliances in my house, and time travel.

ps. my psp and ps3 plot my demise amungst themselves via remote play, it will be the end of me. i recomend all you to turn it off, they are the ones who planned the attack against me where i stubbed my toe on the side of my bed.

Anyways Op. I wish you the best of luck with the password. If you feel the need to move on to the 360 like you mentioned earlier, go right ahead and do that. Or you can just simply own both a PS3 and 360.

I changed my PW perfectly fine. You can log in with your old info and it will propt you to change your PW to a new Password. If you are sitting around waiting for an email to reach your inbox, than you my friend are an idiot. Truly a stupid human being.

I can't complain. So PSN went down for 3 weeks. Big deal. Thats after 3 years of free online gameplay that I've never had any issues with. Its not the end of the world or anything. If someone was letting me play sports on a court/field/whatever for free everyday for three years, and then said that someone took their truck out on it and tore it up so it would need 3 weeks of renovations... I wouldn't complain. I'd come back in 3 weeks and play again.

The people who make this sound like the end of the world need to grow up. PSN went down, OMFG HAXOR. Can't find anything else to do? Thats sad. If I get free games and an extension on my PSN Plus when it comes back up, thats awesome. If I don't, oh well. I'll keep playing and won't be complaining. Someone stole my name, address, and phone number? So what? Its in the phonebook, its on facebook, its on google, yellowbook, and whatever other websites. They didn't get anything that anyone should be worried about.

Be glad Sony has given us this free service for this long and will continue to do so in the future.

Geeze, the guy has a problem and people go on the attack.  He was a little overly irritated at the whole thing, sure, but a few posters in this thread are starting to get on my nerves with these defenses, he has the right to be upset.

Now, can someone give me a short summary of what I have to with this whole password thing? I haven't been keeping up. Do I just go on PSN and change my password on the service?

It is astounding how fast the ignorant masses of these boards rise up and start bitching the moment one of the most impartial and level-headed posters voices a perfectly valid criticism.
