I am

, just watched that yesterday.

But on a serious note, I am highly doubting the combination of Stefl/Prof scum two games in a row. One of them has to be a townie cos probability of them both being scum is out of this world!

EDIT: Broken link :/

Very poor reasonning to conclude one of them has to be a townie. Odds aren't influenced by past results and I have to be suspicious of people who use that line of thinking.

Hoho, if I remember correctly, your reasoning 2 games ago for voting me instead of someone else was "He can't possibly be scum 3 games in a row".

On a serious note, what are the odds of them both being scum in two consequtive games?

As high as both of us being scum in tha last game...

I'm pretty sure I never used this reasoning or if I did... well I was scum... so that doesn't help your case :P

The odds of Stelf and prof being both scum this game are equal the odds for any pair of players.

No you weren't, I was actually scum that game , and you were town.. Or maybe a cult? I don't remember exactly, but definitely not scum in that instance.

Both at the same time? I am shit with probabilities, but I think the chances of that happening are really low, unless of course the roles were not assigned randomly.

Its the same with the lottery... if you play with the same numbers every week, the chances aren't geting higher that you win something - every 6 numbers always have the same probability of being the right six, so even if someone is often scum, the probability he is scum is always the same (well actually it depends on the town-scum ratio), so don't start speculating with probabilities and just look at who is doing what to get scum... thats why - while its fun to joke arounf with ToS, we should not let affect statistics our judgement on him(though he is most likely to be one)

I think you guys are reading too much into all this.

I was making a joke about stefl's method of investigation.

Stefl says I was avoiding the question. I didn't realize there was really anything to avoid, but Heph made a very good point that some scum make it a point to never lie. That's something I would have jumped on someone for as well. So, I understand all your points. However, I did (finally) answer the question, despite my thoughts on the question.

All I have is my one vote that counts as one vote. And that's it.

As to whoever was asking about the question, and whether it matters if it's are you scum or are you town. I'd like to submit these quote boxes.

Hey all, good to be back.

First order of duty,

Vote: trucks

Since truck seems to not be looking at this thread right now, why don't we start a conversation!

Why did you vote for ToS so early in this game?

because trucks is always mafia

Good reasoning! I know there hasn't been much action around yet... so I might as well ask you... well... I honestly admit I don't have any other question for you yet... no other question then:

Are you a Towny ^^

Man... I don't know how to get this day started with so little people here...

To answer the question...I really don't know what the difference of asking one or the other, but apparently stefl does.

ALSO, FOS notstan.

EBWOP:

To answer the better question. I am not scum of any kind. All I have is my one vote that counts as one vote.

If there is a lie detector, this would be more than sufficient. Though I doubt we have one and will throw staunch opposition to anyone claiming the role after this point.

*Testing*

Votes Remaining: Player Name:
L-6
L-6 TruckOSaurus: Prof

L-6; TruckOSaurus: Prof

I'm just working out some kinks with my table, so I may be editing this post.

FYI:

Player Name refers to the player receiving votes.  The person who voted for them and when they voted will be underneath the votes remaining.  I will also be putting out general text (below the table) for voting history in case the table doesn't make sense.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
