Sorry that I don't think that this was a good decision, but I really think if scum wasted a kill on him it would be more valuable... of course he now can say whatever he wants, but if he claimed he should have done it at a later point, not in endgame, but certainly not day one...

I'm not saying he played his hand perfectly but after the "plan" he tried to execute, people were bound to realize he had no vote.  So when that happened his chance of luring scum to kill him dropped considerably so roleclaiming was the logical choice at that point.

Exactly, why take the chance that the mafia missed it? if they missed, oh horror they might lose a kill on wonk. And if they didn't miss it... how are we hurt by letting it unknown until wonk is in danger of lynch and is forced to claims?

It's like the lottery, you don't win if you don't play... and we had a free ticket, you just ripped it appart cause the chances were low.

It's like the "no lynch is a heresy" attitude, well last round it gave the town the extra day it needed... the lottery ticket paid out. (recall that the most fervent no lynch advocate last round was proff... mafia who was enoyed at the delayed kill they had... and you, who had not read your PM and therefore could not be thinking 100% with the town's interest at mind, but only your own).

Free and unharmfull gambits are rare, this was one and how ever little the odds, it shouldn't have been revealed until wonk felt the need.

Why say you still aren't going to read it untill the night? If he has all the info what is the point of saying he still hasn't read the first message? It just seems weired.

I don't have all the information on my role. I have enough to know I don't need to read the first unless I'm being forced to claim, which nobody has even asked for. I said quite a while ago that I'd read my PM if a claim was asked for, but otherwise what is the point?

Why should we give you answers to save yourself? that should be your concern.

All that is evident is that your reluctance to claim unless forced to means that you're uneasy claiming before you have the slightest idea of the types of roles others have and which ones you should avoid... don't fuel the fire firefighter!

we're not down one vote, wonk never had one. We're down by a kill target that won't hurt the town if hit. This means that the no vote was taken into account in the balance of the game (even thouh ABC made warnings on that).
