Sony Ericsson remains “unconcerned” over initial lacklustre sales of PSOne titles on Xperia Play.

Five classic PlayStation games are currently up for grabs on the Android Marketplace, though figures reveal that individual sales for each title have yet to break the 1,000 barrier. 

Here are the sales numbers of the available games:

Cool Boarders 2: 100-500
Destruction Derby: 500-1,000
Jumping Flash: 50-100
MediEvil: 100-500
Syphon Filter: 100-500

Im shocked that only 5 PSOne games are available.

I'm not shocked that Sony is fucking this up.

they should just integrate psn in the phone and bam!

people can play their psOne games on all devices :)

I they werent so greedy and aloud people to put there PS1 classics from there ps3's/psp's on the phone it would have sold alot more

PSN should be integrated. PSOne games should be cheaper (under $3). PSOne games shouldnt be a primary selling point...they should just be an added little bonus. 

Well of course they aren't concerned about the games, they are concerned about the phone itself not selling at all.

That would be nice, but I'm not sure the telecom companies would like that.  I have the play, and all my purchases have to go though my carrier provider.

What are you talking about here? You pay for the games on the android market no? That has nothing to do with your carrier.

People are just tired of Sony's bs. They put their name on something and send it out to die, they have been doing this for the past decade almost.

I was very pessimistic on this, yet even these sales are much worse than I thought.
