I think LA Noire is somewhat of a risky move for Rockstar (less action and more thinking) and may not meet Red Dead Redemption sales(less than 3 million (PS3 version))/metacritics score. Whereas Infamous 2 should outsell the 1st game (2+ million)
I think LA Noire will sell more but Infamous will have a better meta score.
on ps3 i think infamous 2 will outsell LA noire lifetime, LA noire will take metacritic.

I have a feeling Infamous 2 will get nitpicked by critics just like what has been happening with ps3 exclusives lately...
sales wise tho LA noir on ps3 looks to sell better than infamous base on pre-orders but long term(legs) is hard to tell it can go either way.

Na man its pretty much ever game lately...reviewers seem to just be reviewing games much harder then they used to.

I know such sudden change tho I wonder why....
Kinda makes me think that Uncharted 3 and gears 3 will suffer the same fate and trust me the fanboy rage will be through the roof if both these behemoths gets lower than 90.

I know right, geeze, Joystiq just gave Brink a 4 out of 10. I was shocked.
OT: L.A. Noire has Rockstar muscle behind it, so it will sell more and review better. Reviewers have this weird hard on for nearly anything Rockstar develops (or publishes as a main title). I'm sure the game will be good, but it will have some serious flaws that will be glanced over. The same can't be said for Infamous, which will have to actually be incredible to get incredible reviews.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

inFamous sold around 2.5m including DD and will probably make it to 3m.
I think inFamous will sell 3.5m and score an 89 on meta.
LA Noire will probably sell around 2.2m and score a 87 on meta.
I don't see how the game will be huge. There's certainly not a huge marketbase for this type game
I don't know why people think it'll sell well because of Rockstar. It's not made by Rockstar, it's made by some other dev.
How many blockbusters have R* made this gen? AFAIK There are only 2 (RDR & GTA IV)
I would almost guarantee LA Noire will have a better metacritic, unless rockstar makes it just a somewhat interactive movie like Heavy Rain in which case it will get lowered a bit.
