Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3 Getting Handheld or Mobile Versions

It looks as if both Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3, two of EA's biggest games releasing in the next year, will be getting handheld and/or mobile versions before the end of next March.

EA's release calendar for the upcoming fiscal year lists Battlefield 3 for a Q3 release (meaning any time between October 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011) on consoles and PC, as expected, in addition to handheld/mobile. The same is also the case for Mass Effect 3, albeit for a Q4 release (January 1, 2012 - March 31, 2012).

My money is on iOS versions! :)

If EA farms Mass Effect into anything less than brilliance on any platform ever, I will be quite upset.

While NGP versions would be awesome, I'm thinking it will probably go the ios route.

Just give me Mass Effect 3, I really couldn't care less about what else they are doing in comparison to how much I want Mass Effect 3.

Having said that, if it is for NPG, I will probably buy it....

 And no Wii versions...LOL.

how about PS2?

Battlefield 3 is probably coming to 3DS, NGP and (maybe) iOS as they want to make this franchise more popular than COD. 

Sorry that's what Nintendo wanted when they released hardware generation behind it's competitors.

The wii can run the unreal engine 2.5. Dont know if its a hard downport from 3 to 2.5.

NGP would be the only one to be able to do them justice, but its probably IOS.
