Ah, I thought you meant that you passed 500gig.
I'm a fan of paying for what you use, when you use it - so, paying a penny for every 20mb, or so... but during peak times, a penny will only buy you 10mb, or something (just random figures). Putting a price on usage controls consumption, and makes sure that everybody pays for what they use.
If I'm only using a few hundred meg each month to browse Facebook.... I shouldn't have to be paying through the roof prices to help cover the cost of investing in the infrastructure required to delivery terabytes of data to other users. If they want that much, they should have to pay a fair amount.
